Daloris Grohman is the Digital & Customer Communications Specialist at PowerStream. Her career in the electricity industry started in 1987 in Customer Service. Daloris’ ‘claim to fame’ is being the first and only webmaster for both Richmond Hill Hydro (2000) and PowerStream (2006). Now that PowerStream’s gone social with eStream (2012) Daloris is happy to have writing, at least once and a while, back on her job description!

John Sherin, Director, CDM at PowerStream Inc.

John is the Director of CDM (Conservation and Demand Management) at PowerStream. He entered the energy sector 25 years ago with a Certified Engineering Technologist in Energy Conversion designation. He joined PowerStream in 2006 under the mandate of advancing the utility's CDM department into a leader in its conservation efforts and continues to work with PowerStream’s municipal partners to establish and identify common goals in conservation and carbon footprint reduction.

John enjoys time away from PowerStream at his “net zero” cabin where he collects rainwater and generates all the electricity he needs via the sun. This small paradise has been instrumental in teaching his kids (and all visitors) the value of the watt and the importance of keeping life simple.

He is a recreational sports diver and a member of the Canadian Sub-Aquatic Club. He has been on hundreds of diving adventures and most enjoyed diving on wrecks in the St. Lawrence River. One day John hopes to explore the waters of the Cayman Islands.

John Mulrooney is the Director of Smart Grid Technologies at PowerStream and is a professional electrical engineer. He has responsibility for PowerStream’s smart grid strategy and the evaluation of new technologies being considered by the company. John sits on many of the provincial committees responsible for smart grid vision, policy and standards in Ontario.

Abby Prebble currently works as an intern at PowerStream in the Corporate Communications department. She is currently finishing her Advanced Diploma in Public Relations at Humber College and holds a professional performance certificate in Commercial Dance Studies from George Brown College. Abby has extensive experience volunteering for various charities and causes through both communication and performance aspects. She has an entrepreneurial spirit and someday wishes to launch her own charitable production or company. Abby enjoys travelling, reading romantic novels and making long “To Do” lists.
